The 3rd Point Pistol Stock was developed for military and law enforcement individuals that want rifle-like accuracy at short to mid distances but don't have the ability to always carry a rifle.
Our focus is on allowing the pistol to be used and carried as a pistol when the stock isn't installed, but with the ability to quickly increase stability and accuracy when the situation calls for it, turning any pistol with an accessory rail into an easily concealable PCC or PDW.
Features
-
The stock snaps in place onto a pistol’s accessory rail in seconds. No modifications to the host pistol are needed and nothing is permanently installed on the pistol when the stock is not in use. No special tools are needed and no complicated assembly process is present with the host pistol such as removing pins or fitting extended controls. The interface is designed to remain solid under recoil but easily pop on and off when desired.
-
When not installed the stock fits easily in a pocket or pouch. Pouches made for CAT tourniquets fit nicely.
-
The flexibility of the stock is not only an advantage for its storage but also for its durability. The construction of the stock allows it to bend and pop back in place with no action by the user and no damage. Buckling resistance has been balanced with ease of storage and damage tolerance to create something that will not bend under recoil while being easy to fold up for storage. Corrosion resistant and abrasion resistant materials are used in the construction, ensuring years of reliable use.
-
The combination of the integrated forward grip and the location of the mounting point close to the barrel create a very stable shooting platform with quick recovery between shots.
-
Installing the stock on a pistol allows the shooter to consistently hit silhouettes at 100 yrds, especially when combined with a red dot. In testing, we have engaged targets at 200 yrds with a hit rate of about 20%.
-
When installed, the stock doesn't interfere with pistol controls such as the safety, mag release, and slide lock, or operations such as slide racking or magazine insertion and removal.
-
The stock can be installed on any pistol with a Picatinny, Weaver, or Glock style accessory rail mount. Can be used with all existing pistol sights, optics, grips and mag wells. No special holster is required.
-
With the removal of one pin, the stock can be switched from right to left hand operation.
